before the Declaration of Independence was signed.
There are few things about NH that I personally like. For example, the first potato planted in the United States was at
Londonderry Common Field in 1719, and I do love to eat potatoes :D
Also in 1833 the first free public library in the United States
was established in Peterborough, which is pretty cool. On the downside, Levi Hutchins of Concord invented the first alarm clock in
1787... you shall not be forgiven :D
