One more, Greetings from Texas

Nebraska,USA

Greetings from New Hampshire

New Hampshire was first of  the thirteen original colonies,  to declare its independence from Mother England, a full six months before the Declaration of Independence was signed.
There are few things about NH that I personally like. For example, the first potato planted in the United States was at Londonderry Common Field in 1719, and I do love to eat potatoes :D
Also in 1833 the first free public library in the United States was established in Peterborough, which is pretty cool. On the downside, Levi Hutchins of Concord invented the first alarm clock in 1787... you shall not be forgiven :D

My new favourite card has matching stamps and also stamp of my fave movie-Gone with the wind with a beautiful hand cancel:) Thank you James again :)

Greetings from Alaska, USA

Alaska is the largest state in the United States by area, the 3rd least populous and the least densely populated of the 50 United States. Because Alaska i my favourite state and I am biased here are some fun facts about it :))

The United States purchased Alaska from the Russian Empire on March 30, 1867, for 7.2 million U.S. dollars.
Aurora borealis (northern lights) can be seen an average of 243 days a year in Fairbanks. The northern lights are produced by charged electrons and protons striking the earth’s upper atmosphere.
Alaska is less than 50 miles from Russia.
While it is legal to shoot bears in Alaska, waking a sleeping bear for the purpose of taking a photograph is prohibited.
Alaska is the only state name that you can type on one row of a keyboard.
Alaska contains more than 100 volcanoes and volcanic fields which have been active within the last two million years.
Alaska is the only state that does not collect state sales tax or levy an individual income tax (some cities have sales tax, however).
There are more than 3,000 rivers and 3 million lakes in Alaska.
Alaska has more coastline than the rest of the United States combined (more than 34,000 miles).
During the Klondike gold rush in 1897, potatoes were so highly valued for their vitamin C content that miners traded gold for them.
The state sport of Alaska is dog mushing, which was once the primary mode of transportation in most of Alaska. The Iditarod dog sledding race is the state’s largest sporting event.
If New York City had the same population density as Alaska, only 16 people would be living in Manhattan.
Barrow, 800 miles south of the North Pole, has both the longest and shortest day. When the sun rises on May 10, it doesn’t set for nearly three months. When it sets on November 18, Barrow residents do not see the sun again for nearly two months.
Of the 10 strongest earthquakes ever recorded in the world, three have occurred in Alaska.
The Pribilof Islands are home to the largest seal colony with over one million seals.
It is illegal to whisper in someone’s ear while they are moose hunting in Alaska. :)

Greetings from Vermont,USA

The capital is Montpelier, the least populous state capital in the U.S. with a population of fewer than nine thousand people- I am quite suprised by this, because it's actually smaller then my hometown xD
Vermont was ranked as the safest state in the country in January 2016.-  Okay, maybe I won't move to Minnesota, maybe I will go to Vermont at the end :D

Montpelier, Vermont is the only U.S. state capital without a McDonalds- Okay bye bye Vermont.
In ratio of cows to people, Vermont has the greatest number of dairy cows in the country.
Montpelier, Is the largest producer of maple syrup in the U.S.-Okay, hello again.

Minnesota, Land of 10 000 lakes :)

Minnesota  has a large number of lakes, and is known by the slogan "Land of 10,000 Lakes". Its official motto is L'Étoile du Nord (French: Star of the North).
Until European settlement, Minnesota was inhabited by the Dakota and Ojibwe/Anishinaabe. During the 19th and early 20th centuries, the large majority of the European settlers emigrated from Scandinavia and Germany, and the state remains a center of Scandinavian American and German American culture. Minnesota's standard of living index is among the highest in the United States, and the state is also among the best-educated and wealthiest in the nation. Conclusion- I am moving to Minnesota:)

Mt Washington

Mount Washington has highest peak in the Northeastern United States 1,916.6 m. The mountain is notorious for its erratic weather. On the afternoon of April 12, 1934, the Mount Washington Observatory recorded a windspeed of 372 km/h at the summit.  Scary-I will stay away since I hate wind:D
I get confused a lot with these Washington places in USA, there is Washington state and there is Washington city and there is Washington mountain and no, they aren't related. My confusion is slowly disappearing as years go by :) There is also beautiful Oscar de la Renta stamp to light up my day-Thank you James :)
By the way I like this postcard design, it will be next on my list of "what series to collect" :)

Greetings from West Virginia...kinda :D

West Virginia located in the Appalachian region and bordered by Virginia to the southeast, Kentucky to the southwest, Ohio to the northwest, Pennsylvania to the north and Maryland. I guess being close to Pennsylvania is why it has postmark from there on one side and West Virginia on the back side, there is also personal touch from post office worker who did a bit of a pencil cancel on those beautiful stamps as his way of saying have a great day Nata, but don't relax too much and go overboard :D USPS always there to make your day or not :)
